FREE VST - The BitterSweet Transient Designer

DESCRIPTION

Turning the central button to the sweet side decreases the transients amplitude. To the bitter side, the transients amplitude is magnified. BitterSweet also features a control for processing the signal. When the main position is selected, the process affects the stereo signal. If Center is selected, only the M signal of the internal MS matrix is processed. If stereo is selected, only the S signal from the MS matrix is processed. Three transient detection modes can be selected. Varying periods of integration for transients can be accessed. A Link function is available to compensate the output gain with respect to the transient processing setting.
Like all Flux:: plug-ins, it features 64 bit floating point processing, up to 8 channels and up to 8 FS (384 KHz). Center and Stereo Modes are only available in stereo processing (2 channels). We hope you will enjoy this new toy and make your Mix Sweeter or Bitterer.BitterSweet II is only available in native version for AU, RTAS and VST.Neither Flux or iLok dongle, nor registration are required.

  • Bypass routes the incoming signal direct to the output for a true smooth transition between processed and clean signal.
  • Three different transient processing modes:
  • Main, using a regular stereo signal scheme for the processing.
  • Center, processing the Mid channel only, very efficient for snare and kick drums.
  • Stereo, processing the Side channel only, very efficient for panned rhythmic/transient instruments.

Lets say you have a melody in a particular key/scale/mode and you want to harmonize it with the correct chords...well once you understand the basic technique presented here it can be applied to all known scales and modes with very little music theory knowledge.
My website www.chordengine.com has a full written tutorial as well as links for free useful utilties for improving your songwriting skills including the FREE nutchords utility which I've used in this tutorial for generating the Phrygian mode itself.

How to Make a Noise: a Comprehensive Guide to Synthesizer Programming - DOWNLOAD FREE

How To Make A Noise: a Comprehensive Guide to Synthesizer Programming is perhaps the most widely ready book about synthesizer sound programming. It is a comprehensive, practical guide to sound design and synthesizer programming techniques using: subtractive (analog) synthesis frequency modulation synthesis (including phase modulation and ring modulation) additive synthesis
wave-sequencing sample-based synthesis This book looks at programming using examples from six software synthesizers: Cameleon 5000 from Camel Audio, Rhino 2 from BigTick, Surge from Vember Audio, Vanguard from reFX, Wusikstation from Wusik dot com, and Z3TA+ from Cakewalk. Over 300 sound patches are created in the book: click here for further details of the patches.

This book was first published in 2005 and was revised in 2007. Since then the featured synthesizers have (in most cases) been superseded and in addition, most of the synths are Windows-only. However, the techniques outlined are still applicable and the book also sets out other synthesis options—such as additive synthesis and wave-sequencing—which are not covered in any of the other books in the series. It is also the only book in the series that is available in hard copy (paper) format.

FREE VST - King Dubby Delay (MAC USERS) - DOWNLOAD FREE

For all of you lo-fi freaks out there. This emulates the classic dub delay sounds. Using analog tape delay as it’s main inspiration, it has amazing User Interface and a screaming sound make it a unique, simple and elegant plugin you definitely want to have in your Ableton Live set up.

Delay time: automatically synchronized with your song’s tempo and allows a delay time of up to 1 bar (with a maximum of 4 seconds) in 96 discrete steps.

Delay feedback: controls the amount of signal which will be reinjected in the delay unit. The higher this control is set, the longer the echoes will take to decay. In conjuction with other settings, it can also create some cool Larsen effect!

Delay degradation: mixes the clean digital delay with the more vintage tape delay channel. When you increase its value your echoes will be fully passed through our degradation filter, which is controled by the next section.

FREE VST - Glitch Real Time Effects Sequencer - DOWNLOAD FREE

What is it?

Glitch is a VST plug-in effect for Windows-based sequencers that support VST 2.3 or higher.

What does it do?

Glitch features a pattern-based effects sequencer that takes the incoming audio, breaks it down into user-defined slices, and then applies different effects to each slice. The sounds it generates range from quite subtle to extremely bizarre, depending on how much you tweak the controls. Effects can either be programmed by hand to create specific desired patterns; chosen pseudo-randomly based on each effect’s probability level, with a user-defined seed value that optionally allows the same sequence of “random” effects to be chosen each time; or combined into a mixture of both methods to suite your own tastes.

Download latest version:

Installation

Open the ZIP archive using a utility such as 7-Zip, then copy the file dblue_Glitch_v1_3.dll into your VST plug-ins directory.

Depending on the host you are using, it may also be necessary to re-scan the plug-ins directory or restart the host itself before the new plug-in will appear.
